Departure Dr Vuylsteke and Dr Acosta – Start Dr Weyns and Dr Putzeis
Dear patients,
From 02/04, new GPs Dr Rosalie Weyns and Dr Laurien Putzeis will start their professional training here. They are both in their second year of training as HAIO (graduate doctors) and will stay for a year and a half, until the end of September 2026. Their schedule will open shortly after they start. You are always free to consult them as a GP!
Unfortunately, this also means the departure of our current HAIOs Dr Vuylsteke and Dr Acosta. We would like to thank them for all their hard work and will certainly miss them on the team! We wish you both the best of luck as you continue your careers!
Dr Vuylsteke her last day is on 17/03 and Dr Acosta’s on 26/03.
Important notice: change in telephone consultations
From 15 February 2025, the government has decided that telephone consultations with GPs will no longer be reimbursed. To introduce this change responsibly, telephone consultations with doctors will be limited to two moments per week from 24 February 2025.
In addition, we kindly ask you to always schedule an appointment to discuss medical results (such as blood tests, imaging, etc.) unless the doctor has explicitly stated that telephone contact is possible. It is also important to know that prescriptions for medication, physiotherapy or other treatments are never given over the phone.
You can find an overview of the doctors and their telephone accessibility here.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
